International Conference 'Regulatory activity in electronic communications sector', 28-29 September 2015, Budva (Montenegro)

This year's, the thirteenth in a row, International Conference 'Regulatory activity in electronic communications sector', will be organized by the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (EKIP) and International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The Conference under the working title 'Expanding Broadband Access and Acceptance' take place within the Festival of ICT achievements - INFOFEST 2015. 
 
Taking into consideration the focus of the regional initiative of the International Telecommunication Union, agreed at the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-14), and in particular the Regional Initiative on broadband access, the organisers of the conference agreed that this year's conference represents a continuation of activities aimed at the development of broadband access, while keeping in mind that last year's conference successfully assess all aspects related to the theme 'Towards a mobile broadband access in Europe.'

The Conference will be focused to a number of issues as follows:

    A level of technological development achieved,
    Action plans,
    Quality of services,
    Consumer Protection,
    Future development plans. 

The Conference will be organized, at the 'Maestral' Hotel, at Pržno, in the most famous Montenegrin tourist center - Budva, near the tourist pearl of the island of Sveti Stefan.

The representatives of the European regulatory agencies, ministries, operators of electronic communications, as well as the representatives and experts from international organizations and institutions responsible for policy development and regulation of electronic communications are invited to participate in the Conference and thereby contribute to the success and quality of this year's Conference. 

All those who are interested in participation in the Conference in the capacity of panelists or speakers are invited to submit the name of their presentation by 4 September 2015 at the e-mail address conference@ekip.me, whereas their presentations should be submitted by 18 September 2015.

For this Conference documents will not be submitted in paper form. Documents relating to the Conference, including agenda, registration form and practical information for participants will be posted on the website of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), or at the website of the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (EKIP).
