The Chair is at the helm of both groups. The Board assists the Chair in his/her duties.

Chair's Secretariat

Improvements of I/ERG internal operations during 2007 included the establishment of a permanent Secretariat acting in support of the activities of the Chair. It is based in Brussels and supports measures which improve efficiency and cooperation among the members. It also coordinates project teams and the implementation of the work plan, acting as a central, stable and continuous resource for the group.
